We manufacture our copper dies from a specially-developed copper alloy and we photoetch them using a refined, proprietary process. We can’t reveal our secret, but what we can tell you is that it holds finite image detail. It’s a meticulous process that we go through so that you don’t have to. When you get a UEI® copper die, you can rest assured that it is as parallel as possible. When using on narrow web, every Copper die includes the necessary mounting holes for any narrow web flatbed rotary machine. Because copper recuperates heat much faster than other metals, it’s an excellent choice for either sheetfed or Narrow Web flat foil stamping applications.
